Climate Change affects us all, whether directly or indirectly, and it can often feel overwhelming – but it doesn’t have to! There is a lot we can do individually and together to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change and extreme weather.
Our primary focus is to provide information to residents and answering questions so that they can make informed decisions on topics such as: Electric Vehicles, Cold Climate Heat Pumps, Electric Appliances, Solar and Battery Backup, Rain Barrels, current rebate programs and much more. Check out our recent articles below, as well as our archives. New articles will be published documenting the journey to reduce our impact on the earth. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to contact us at climate@blackburnhamlet.ca.
